Embroidery can hold up better and it is not susceptible to harsh conditions as printing for example in extreme heat conditions. One has the option to choose a design from the available library of designs and there is no additional cost for the more colors that one may need to embroider hence embroidered designs can look more colorful at a lesser cost.
While the custom screen printing and custom embroidery exhibit these benefits they also have some cons. Embroidery puts a large amount of thread on the amount being embroidered, this can disfigure the item being designed. Setting up embroidery is very involving because the design into a stitched design is difficult. It costs a lot more than printing. However one incurs this cost once and there are no other expenses in the future for the same designs. The setup cost associated with screen printing is high but the cost is also a one-time cost just like the embroidery cost.
